The Ubuntu-PT community is the Portuguese local team that supports the Ubuntu Linux distribution. We aim to promote Ubuntu at a regional level by:

• acting as a point of reference to all portuguese Ubuntu users;
• translating Ubuntu to our language. This task includes contribuitions to the translation teams of other projects such as GNOME and Debian;
• promoting Ubuntu, Linux and Free Software in general;
• providing support to portuguese Ubuntu users on our Mailing lists, wiki, web, forums and IRC (#ubuntu-pt channel on irc.freenode.net);
